Mr. Stockton moved to suspend the operation of Rule 27, and that the vote taken on the 21st instant, to insert in line 5, section 5, the words who shall be citizens of said Territory, be reconsidered. Resolved, by the Governor and Legislative Council of the Territory of Michigan, that the secretary of the Territory be directed to cause all proclamations of the Governor, respecting the establishment of county seats, and the reports of commissioners on which such proclamations are based to be published in the volume of acts passed during the present session of the Council. Mr. Lawrence from the committee on the Judiciary, to whom was referred that part of the message of the Govern or, relative to the Southern boundary of this Territory, reported the following resolution: Resolved, by the Governor and Legislative Council of the Territory of Michigan: That the Governor be and he is hereby authorised, to open a negociation with the Executive of the state of Ohio for adjusting the boundary line between Ohio and Michigan, on the basis of a cession of all the Territory in dispute, situate east of the Maumee river, and the acceptance by Michigan, of an equivalent cession of Territory west of the said stream. The bill to established a ferry, over the St. Joseph river, was read a third time. On motion of Mr. Le Roy the blanks in the bill was filled with the words County Court.'
