He has also discovered that the sum of $40 in depreciated bills of the Miami Exporting Company, Hamilton, Kentucky, and Vincennes banks, was included in the balance of $335,22 reported to the Governor when acting in a Legislative capacity, to be a balance in the Territorial Treasury on the first day of Jan. 1823. Should the difference before stated (on further examination of the Treasury books) prove correct, there will then be a balance due him of $85,67, instead of $74,09, which he is credited with on the 31st December 1829.
