Have had the same under consideration, and I am directed to report the said bill to the Senate with the recommendation that it be rejected.

Mr. Guerin asked and obtained leave of absence for Mr. Matheny for one week.

Mr. Martindale, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, made the following reports:

MR. PRESIDENT: Your Committee on Agriculture, to whom was referred

Senate Bill No. 128, An act to exempt certain territory from the operations of an act entitled an act for the protection of stock from disease, approved February 26, 1867, and all the amendments thereto thereafter made,

Have had the same under consideration, and I am directed to report the said bill to the Senate with the recommendation that it be passed.

Mr. President: Your Committee on Agriculture, to who was referred

Petition of W. G. Ewing and others, asking for enforcement of State herd law in Drywood township, Bourbon covaty, Have had the same under consideration, and I am directed to report the same to the Senate with the recommendation that it be referred to Mr. Simpson, Senator from Bourbon county.
