The fifty-eighth session of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana assembled in the State House, in the city of Indianapolis, on Thursday, the 5th day of January, A. D., 1893, at 10 o'clock A. M., it being the day fixed by law for the meeting of the same. The House of Representatives was called to order by Hon. Claude Matthews, Secretary of State. Prayer was offered by the Rev.
