Supplying light and heat to the public at the township of Rostraver, Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, and to such persons, partnerships and corporations residing therein and adjacent thereto, as may desire the same; said light and heat to be furnished by means of natural gas transmitted and distributed through pipes from natural gas wells, pipes and tanks in said county.

Transacting such business as is lawful for Building and Loan Associations, viz: Accumulation of a fund from weekly payments, fines, interest, &c., and loaning the same from time to time to members to purchase homes or aid them in business.

Supplying heat and light to the citizens of the borough of Waynesburg and vicinity, by means of either natural or manufactured gas.

Constructing, maintaining and leasing telephone lines for the private use of individuals, firms, corporations, municipal and otherwise, for general business, and for police, fire alarm and messenger business. To be constructed and operated under Letters Patent of the United States, dated the 15th day of June, 1880, and numbered 228,817, and such improvements thereon and other patent rights as the said company may purchase or obtain.

Manufacturing butter, cheese and other dairy products.

and to the borough of Bethlehem and in and to the bor.
ough of South Bethlehem, in Northampton county, State of
Pennsylvania, and vicinity and to persons and corporations
therein.

conductors to the public in the borough of Norristown and
to corporations, firms and individuals residing therein and
in the territory adjacent thereto, electricity for light, heat

and to corporations, firms and individuals residing therein
and in the territory adjacent thereto, electricity for light,

Introducing a sufficient supply of pure water into the districts
comprising the Wyoming and Lackawanna valleys in Lu-
zerne county, by the storage and transportation of the same,
under Section 2, Item XVIII, act approved 29th April, 1874,
(not including the right to supply water to individuals and
corporations in cities and boroughs now erected in said dis-
trict other than water companies desiring the same), and to
transact all business connected therewith.

Supplying the inhabitants of Kinzua township, Warren coun-
ty, and adjacent territory in Warren county, with natural
gas for light and heating purposes.

Supplying natural gas for light and heating purposes to the inhabitants of Elk township, and adjacent territory in Warren county.

Clearing out, improving and using Mix Run and one of its
branches called Red Run, not exceeding twenty miles in
length, in the counties of Cameron and Elk, purchasing
dams and erecting new dams thereon, straightening, deepen-
ing, cribbing and widening the said streams and using and
managing same for the floating of logs, lumber and timber
thereon, by both natural and artificial floods at their discre-
tion, but in such manner as not to obstruct the descending
navigation by rafts and boats.

Furnishing light and heat to the public by engaging in the
business of boring wells for natural gas and conveying the
gas through pipes from the gas wells and the sale of the
products of said wells to the public, at the township of
East Deer.

Furnishing light and heat to the public by engaging in the
business of boring wells for natural gas and conveying the
gas through pipes from the gas wells, and the sale of the
products of said wells to the public, at the township of
Harrison.

Buying, owning, holding, leasing and selling lands in the
State of Missouri.

Purchasing the plant and business of M. E. Cozard & Co., ex-
aminers of titles, their books, maps, records, &c.. and there-
upon engaging in and carrying on the business of the in-
surance of owners of real estate, mortgages and others
interested in real estate from loss by reason of defective
titles, liens and incumbrances and in connection therewith
the examination of titles to real estate, the making and
furnishing of abstracts thereof, and certificates as to in-
cumbrances thereon, and of conveyances in general.

PURPOSE.

Supplying Indiana and vicinity with natural gas for heating
purposes.
Manufacturing and selling glass and sheet or cast metal in all
its forms and especially under any and all patents now is-
sued to and owned by any of the stockholders of the com-
pany or which may hereafter be issued to the company for
fruit jars, fruit jar stoppers and trimmings, moulds for
glassware, designs for bottles and machinery for making
fruit jar trimmings.

Manufacturing and selling flour and products of cereals of
all kinds.

Manufacturing patented folding and extension gates and
guards from iron, steel, wood or other materials, under Let-
ters Patent of the United States, No. 191,984, dated June
12th, 1877, and No. 213,119, dated March 11th, 1879.

To clear out, improve, take and use the waters of a stream
known as Four Mile Run and its branches, said stream be-
ing a tributary of Pine Creek and located in the county of
Tioga, and State of Pennsylvania, as also the lands covered
by said stream and its branches and adjoining and adja-
cent thereto, with power to straighten, deepen, widen and
crib said stream and its branches; to erect reservoirs for
holding water; to construct dams thereon and to use and
manage said lands, streams and its branches and the im-
provements to be made thereon for the purpose of floating
and driving saw logs, lumber and timber by natural or arti-
ficial means, to collect and receive therefor reasonable
tolls and charges, not exceeding ten cents per thousand feet
board measure, and for these purposes to have, possess and
enjoy all the rights, benefits and privileges of the said Act
of Assembly and its supplements.
