16 YEARS

EXPERIENCE IN CHAIR BUILDING with a constant aim to keep pace with requirements of the profession has made Mr. Gould's inventions much sought after. The "CROWN" Dental Chair, Mr. Gould's latest production contains new and valuable features which the A. P. Gould Company alone can use and which brings the "CROWN" in the front rank of dental chairs.

The "CROWN" has come to stay and the phenominal sale since placed on the market is marked testimony of its superiority. You will do well to reserve your order for our represutative, who will exhibit the "CROWN" before graduation.

ADJUSTABLE ANGLE BROACH - HOLDER.

THIS

Invented by W. St. George Elliott, Jr., D. D. S.

HIS ingenious little device has a screw chuck A for holding the broach B. The shaft of the chuck ends in a ball, C, which

has a socket seat in the slotted

end of the carrier D, while a screw plunger, E, serves to thrust the ball into its socket seat and lock it there. By gripping the carrier D, and turning the handle to the left, the ball may be released and

swung laterally to any radius equal to a right angle, and there be fixed by a turn of the handle. broach secured in its chuch A and fixed at an angle to the holder may be inserted in a tooth canal, the ball released by a turn of the handle to the left, and the chuck be rotated between the thumb and finger; or, by several backward turns of the handle the ball can be slipped out from the holder at F, and the chuck with its broach be operated in the canal independently of the holder. The chuck will grip a Donaldson Cleanser, or the shank of one of our barbed nerve extractors, which may be shortened by cutting off more than half the shank. Two or more chucks may be kept on hand for quick interchangeable use with different broaches, employing but one handle. These several novel functions of the device constitute it a broach-holder of general utility.
