If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Col. iii. 1. ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who art always more ready to hear than we to pray, and art wont to give more than either we desire or deserve; Pour down upon us the abundance of Thy mercy; forgiving us those things whereof our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things which we are not worthy to ask, but through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord. ALMIGHTY God, from whom cometh down every good and perfect gift, and who pourest out on all who desire it the Spirit of grace and supplication; Deliver us, when we draw nigh to Thee, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind; that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections we may worship Thee in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
