3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance2 of her delicacies.3

Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth. 2 TIM. iv. 14: Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works. deemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon. REV. xi. 17: We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
