BEHOLD, a what manner of love the Father
hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called
the sons of God : therefore the world knoweth
us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet e appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be flike him ; for we shall & see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him "purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Isa. liii. 5, 11: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities : the chastisenient of our peace was upon him ; and with his stripes we are healed. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied : by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 10 In this 2 the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil : "whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, 'neither he that loveth not his brother.
