NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The Navajo-Hopi land commission hereby affisms the selection mde on April 28, 1982 of 35,000 acres of Bureau of Land Management lands within the Paragon Resources Ranch in New Mexico. 2. The Navajo-Bopi Land Commission bereby selects for acquisition or trinster under Public Law 96-305, the Lands lå Arizona designated on the attached maps marked Exhibit A, Band ( for the benefit of Navajo popolation residing in the BopPartitioned Land of the tornar Jolat One Area. 3.. The Navajo Nation hereby reserves the right to substituto other lands for those selected MY be convenient or necessary in the process of acquisition or aid negotiation with the Hopi tribe. 4. The Navajo-Hopi Land Commission hereby requests the Chairman of the Navajo Tribal Council to forward the final selection to the Bureau of Land Management and the Navajo-Bopi Indian Relocation canmission and further requests such agencies to immediately take appropriate steps tridsfor those lands described herola, laoludlag the Paragoa Resource Reach.
