Hon. E. F. Bishop,

Sir:-The Judiciary Committee have had under conisderation House Bill No. 26, entitled "An Act to Amend Section 60 of Chapter 13 of Act 39 of the Session Laws of 1905 as Amended by Act 54 of the Session Laws of 1905," and recommend the passage of the Bill.

Section 60 of the County Act provides for the removal from office of County officers, including members of the Board of Supervisors, and the Bill under consideration specifies more particularly the causes for which such officers may be removed; and also that an officer against whom a charge is made shall be informed in writing of the charges and that hearing shall be at the County seat and open to the public.
