MEETINGS

MEETINGS-WHERE HELD

SECTION I. All meetings of the Board of Education shall be held at the Hall of the Board, corner of Park Avenue and Fiftyninth Street.

STATED MEETINGS-WHEN HELD

SEC. 2. Stated meetings shall be held on the first Monday in February, the second Wednesday in August, and the second and fourth Wednesdays in every month except August. Should the day so fixed be a holiday, the meeting shall be held on the day following. An adjourned stated meeting shall be deemed, for the transaction of all business, a stated meeting. (As amended April 5, 1905; February 13, 1908, and June 10, 1914.

SPECIAL MEETINGS-HOW CALLED

SEC. 3. Special meetings shall be held on the call of the President or on the written request of ten members; provided, however, that notice of such meeting shall be given not less than twenty-four hours in advance, and shall state the special matter to be presented for consideration. No other matter shall be considered at such special meeting, except by the consent of two-thirds of the members present.

HOUR OF MEETING

SEC. 4. The hour of meeting shall be 4 o'clock in the afternoon, except when otherwise ordered by the Board. If a quorum be not present the meeting may be adjourned.
