On motion of Mr. Miller of Fayette, Senate file No. 20, a bill for an act to legalize a tax voted by the electors of the independent school district of Fayette, Iowa, and all warrants issued by such election, with report of committee recommending that the bill do pass was taken up, considered and the report of the committee adopted.

Mr. Miller of Fayette moved that the rule be suspended, and that the bill be read a third time now, which motion prevailed, and the bill was read a third time.

By inserting the words "the Iowa State Register" before the word "and," and the words "Des Moines Leader" after the word "and" in line three (3) of section two (2).

Mr. Kimball moved that the rule be suspended, and that the bill be considered engrossed and read a third time now, which motion prevailed, and the bill was read a third time.
