Governor McGrew, who is, by virtue of his office, President of the Senate. On motion of Senator Houston, C. V. Eskridge, of Lyon county, was chosen as Secretary pro tem. The roll being called, the following Senators answered to their names: Messrs. Akin, Anderson, Bartlett, Emmert, Eskridge, Gambell, Grover, Horne, Houston, Jones, Legate, Manning, Miller, Milhoan, Quigg, Riggs, Spear, Twiss and Wheeler. Absent-Messrs.
