The President presented the following proposition from Milton W. Reynolds, Esq., proprietor of the Lawrence Daily Journal: TOPEKA, Jan. 13, 1866.

HON. JAMES MCGREW, President of the Senate: SIR-Through you, I desire to submit to the body over which you preside, the following proposition:

I will furnish any number of copies of the Kansas State Journal to members of the Legislature, that may be ordered, for one dollar per copy, during the session of the Legislature.

The Journal shall contain a full report of the proceedings of both Houses, and will be placed upon members' desks upon the arrival of the cars, or mailed to such names as are furnished, from the office in Lawrence.
