ARTICLE XXIII. PASTORAL LETTER. ARTICLE XXIV. SYNODICAL ARCHIVES. Resolved, That the Stated Clerk be instructed to secure a suitable place for the Synodical Archives in the Gardner A. Sage Library building, and remove the books and papers of the General Synod, now at the Synod's Rooms, to such place of safety as soon as possible. ARTICLE XXV. ACCOUNTS. The Committee on Accounts presented the following report, which was accepted and adopted : The Committee on Accounts would report that there are present at this Synod fourteen delegates from the Particular Synod of Chicago, who are entitled to traveling expenses as follows, according to the rule of Synod Two from the Classis of Michigan $28 each..$56 Your Committee recommend that these amounts be paid. The following bills have been put into the hands of this Committee: Bill for Stationery.. Bill for printing Ballots.... Bill for printing Rolls and Standing Committees. Doorkeeper's bill..... Your Committee recommend that these bills be paid. M. KIEKINTVELD, Chairman, ARTICLE XXVI. RESUMPTION AND CLOSE. Resolved, That the Stated Clerk be authorized to publish 1,400 copies of the Minutes of the Synod, and that the price of each copy be printed on the cover. Resolved, That the sincere thanks of the Synod be returned First. To the Pastor and Consistory of the First Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie, for the use of this church editice, in connection with their ample arrangements for the entertainment of the members of the Synod; Second. To the several Pastors of the city for the cordial invita. tions extended to us to occupy their respective pulpits Third. To the Young Men's Christian Association for their handsome entertainment at their rooms; Fourth. To the President and Facuity of Vassar College for the kind reception given to the Synod at that noble Institution; Fifth. To the press of Poughkeepsie for the liberality it has evinced, and its faithful reports of the business of Synod; Finally. To the citizens generally for their manifestation of interest in our deliberatious; and in return for each and all of these benefactions the General Synod would leave behind them its benediction: The Lord bless thee, and keep thee. The Lord make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. The Lord his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” lift up ARTICLE XXVII. ADJOURNMENT. The Synod resolved to meet in the First Reformed Church in Jersey City, N. J., on the first Wednesday in June, 1875, at 3 o'clock P.
