Gentlemen: I have the honor to present the following report of my official acts as Chief Health Officer of the State, and of the work of this Board during the year.

Meetings.

Since the last annual report was presented, three regular and two special meetings have been held: The regular meetings took place

as follows:

Thursday, November 11, 1897, at Harrisburg; Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, 1898, at Lancaster, and Thursday, July 14, 1898, at Swiftwater.
