On the third day they changed from prayer to praise, when they learnt that the tomb could not enthrall (or hold) Him; we in like manner sing the Song of Praise, first sung by the Angels at His birth, and here repeated by us, in memory of His resurrection, which is in a way a second birth, wards men.
