GENERAL GRANT 1922. A portrait of General Grant was donated by the Grand Army of the Republbic. CRATER LAKE. 1924. The city of Medford donated two lots free from tax with buildings thereon for an office and residence of the superintendent and a building suitable for warehouse. Painting of the Covered Wagon crossing the Oregon Plains was presented by public spirited individuals. MESA VERDE 1919. An area of 9.6 acres was donated by Mr. Henry Van Kleeck containing three prehistoric ruins. 1922. A donation of $3,000 was made by Mrs. Stella Leviston for museum. 1924. A donation of $2,000 was made by Mrs. Stella Leviston for museum. Donation of $190 was made by Ranger W. Templeton Johnson. Donation of $3,500 was made by the superintendent for museum cases, etc. GLACIER 1917. An area of 160 acres was donated by Mr. S. T. Mather, 1918. A tract of land for a fish hatchery was donated by Mr. S. T. Mather. ROCKY MOUNTAIN 1917. Portions of the road leading to the camp ground in Glacier Basin were donated by the private holders of the land. 1920. A site for the gateway to the Fall River Road was donated by Mr. and Mrs. H. E. James, and a donation of $1,500 was made by Frank Woodward for a gateway to the Fall River Road. 1922. A donation of $4,000 was made by the State of California for the Fall River Road. A large-size lot was donated by the Women's Club of Estes Park. HAWAII 1923. A donation of 100,000 pamphlets was made by the Hawaii Tourist Bureau. LASSEN VOLCANIC 1923. The California Legislature appropriated $8,000 for surveys in this park. MOUNT M'KINLEY 1922. A donation of $1,000 was made by Mr. M. F. Chandler for trails in this park. GRAND CANYON 1920. A donation of $1,835.50 was made by the Brooklyn Eagle for an information booth. 1923. A donation of 21,000 pamphlets for distribution to visitors was made by the Santa Fe Railroad. 1924. The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Co. donated $12.61 for an information booth. A donation of 40,000 pamphlets was made by the Santa Fe Railroad. LAYFAYETTE 1919. The whole area of this park was donated by Mr. George B. Dorr and other public-spirited individuals which now comprises 5,289 acres. This park was formerly Sieur De Monts National Monument, which was created in 1916 and then consisted of approximately 5,000 acres. 1921. A donation of $300 was made by Mr. George B. Dorr for information circulars. 1924. Various amounts have been donated for work in this park through a local committee, the amounts of which are not known. 6.
