HE very generous reception of the "Little Sunbeam," as well as the favor manifested by the public toward the other productions of the author, and the increasing and continued demand for new Sunday-School music, has induced him to prepare "THE SILVER SPRAY." The hymns and tunes in this volume, both old and new, have been selected and prepared with much care, not only with regard to their real excellence, but to promote the happiness and salvation of the young. It is believed they will be found not only pleasing and attractive, but free from all unhallowed associations, and full of Gospel truth. Most of the hymns have been prepared expressly for this work. Particular attention is invited to the Duets and Chants.
