The Right Raw. Bishof Hobart SIX LETTERS Auctoribus quidem ad istam sententiam quam vis obtineri uti optimis CICERO. London: Printed by J. Hodson, Cross-Street, Hatton-Garden, FOR F. AND C RIVINGTON, ST. PAUL'S CHURCH-YARD; W. H. LUNN, 1802. ADVERTISEMENT. THESE HESE Letters being merely supplemental to Mr. Sharp's Remarks*, cannot well be understood without some knowledge of that work. The following extract will supply what is most necessary; and I make it the rather, because I understand that it is already very dif ficult to procure a copy of Mr. Sharp's pamphlet†. "Rule I. When the copulative xa connects two nouns of the same case [viz. nouns (either substantive, or adjective, or participles) of personal description respecting office, dignity, affinity, or connection, and attributes, properties or qualities good or ill] if the article, or any of it's cases, precedes the first of the said nouns or participles, and is * "Remarks on the Uses of the Definitive Article in the Greek Text of the New Testament; containing many new proofs of the Divinity of Christ, from passages which are wrongly translated in the common English Version, by Granville Sharp, Esq. Durham, 1798.". + Further information may be obtained by consulting the British Critic for Jan. 1800. I do not know that the work has yet been noticed by any other Review.
