This enterprizing traveller, after an absence of five years from his native country, was hastening homewards, when arrested by a sudden and fatal disease. He breathed his last with no other attendants than his foreign servants, or the uncivilized natives. One of the companions of Mr Bromhead's travels, the Rev. Joseph Cook, Fellow of Christ's College, died on a camel under al-" most as melancholy circumstances, near the Palm Trees of Elim, in March; and the other, Henry Lewis, Esq. R.
