Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, That the Recorder of the City of Columbia, Maury County, Tennessee, be, and he is hereby, invested with concurrent jurisdiction with Justices of the Peace, in all cases of violation of the Criminal Law of the State, or of the Ordinances of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Columbia, within the limits of said city.
