NOTE: The authority of the Secretary under section 402 of Reorganization Plan No. 3 of 1946 (3 CFR, 1946 Supp., Ch. IV) with respect to the uses of mineral deposits in certain acquired lands was superseded, as to certain minerals, by the Mineral Leasing Act for Acquired Lands enacted on Aug. 7, 1947 (61 Stat. 913; 30 U.S.C. 351–359).
