Wyoming__ Veterans' Home, Waupaca Commandant Soldiers' and Sailors' Home, Buffalo, Johnson County, Wyo. Requirements for admission. The requirements for admission to the State homes are regulated by each State and are so varied that no attempt is made to give here the requirements for each home. It may be stated, however, that a residence in the State of from six months to five years is generally required. Many of the States admit wives, widows, and mothers of soldiers, under certain conditions, such as age, dependence, date of marriage, etc. Widows or wives of ex-soldiers or sailors should make application to the commanding officer of the State soldiers' home in the State in which they reside. Applicants can always secure the information as to where the State homes are located and the requirements for admission by applying to the State board of charities in the capital of the State in which they reside.
