Mr. Hazeltine presented the petition of Simon Wright, of Randolph, in the State of New York, praying permission to locate his bounty land in the State of Illinois, on lands equal to that to which he is entitled in the Territory of Arkansas.

Mr. Crane presented the memorial of sundry citizens of the State of Ohio, praying for a donation of certain lands, for the purpose of erecting thercon, in the county of Wood, a court-house and other public buildings.

Mr. Craue presented the petition of sundry inhabitants of the State of Ohio, praying for the removal of the land office from Lima to Defiance. Mr. Thomson, of Ohio, presented a like petition of sundry other citizens of Ohio.

Mr. Lane presented the petition of sundry inhabitants of the State of Indiana. representing that sundry acts of Congress, relative to western lands, are erroneously construed by the surveyors, and praying relief in the premises.

Mr. Boon presented the petitions of John Fifer and James Calvin, Peter Guthrie, George W. Bennett, John Fletchall, and Benjamin Bennett, of the State of Indiana, praying permission to correct their entries upon certain lots of land.

Mr. Chapman presented a petition of John Jeffers, of the State of Alabama, praying that the register of the land office at Huntsville be authorized to issue scrip to him for the amount paid for a certain tract of land forfeited to Government.

Mr. A. G. Harrison presented a petition of sundry citizens of the State of Missouri, praying for the establishment of a new land district at Jefferson city, in the State of Missouri.

Mr. A. G. Harrison also presented a petition of John Wiley and Jefferson Greer, praying remuneration for improvements made upon certain lands sold by Government.

Mr. A. G. Harrison presented a petition of sundry citizens of the State of Missouri, in behalf of Robert Murray, praying for permission to change his entry for certain lands, the said entry being made through mistake.

Mr. Sevier presented the memorial of the General Assembly of the Territory of Arkansas, praying for an increase of the compensation of deputy surveyors of public lands.
