At the Quarterly Grand Communication of the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, held August 20th, A. D. 1860, A. I. 2390, the following Resolution was adopted :

Resolved, That a Committee of five be appointed to revise the Constitution, Rules and Regulations of the Grand Chapter, and to make such other suggestions as the Committee may deem proper.

The M. E. G. High Priest was pleased to appoint Companions JEREMIAH L. HUTCHINSON, JOSEPH S. RILEY, CHARLES GILPIN, J. ALEXANDER SIMPSON, and SAMUEL C. PERKINS, said Committee.

At a Special Grand Communication of the Grand Chapter, held November 2d, A. D. 1863, A, I. 2393, the Report of said Committee having been previously read and adopted by Articles and Sections, with amendments, it was unanimously.

Resolved, That the Constitution, Ceremonial, Prayers, Charges and Forms reported by the Committee, as amended by the Grand Chapter, be and the same hereby are adopted, as the Constitution, Rules and Regulations of this Grand Chapter, to go into effect on and after December 27th, A. D. 1863, A. I. 2393.

At the Annual Grand Communication of the Grand Chapter, held on St. John the Evangelist's Day, A. D. 1863, A. I. 2393, upon a reconsideration of the question, it was unanimously

Resolved, That the Resolution adopted November 2d, be amended by adding thereto the following words: “Except Article I., which shall go into effect on and after December 27th, A. D. 1864, A. I. 2394"; and the Resolution as amended was thereupon unanimously adopted.

At the Quarterly Communication of the Grand Chapter of Penn

sylvania, February 18th, A. D. 1867, A. I. 2397, the following amendments to the Constitution were ordered to be printed, and a copy sent to ench Chapter and Mark Lodge under this jurisdiction, viz :

Add to Article XV, (B) page 26, as follows:

“SEC. 5. No Companion can be elected High Priest of a Chapter who has not been elected and served as King or Scribe of a Chapter in this jurisdiction, except at the formation of a new Chapter, and no Brother can be elected Master of a Most Excellent or Mark Lodge, who has not been elected and served as Warden of a Most Excellent or Mark Masters Lodge respectively in this jurisdiction, except at the formation of a New Lodge."

Adopted, May 15th, 1865.

Add to Article 1, page 3, after the words “And all Past Grand High Priests," the words:

“Also all High Priests, Kings and Scribes for the time being of subordinate Chapters under this jurisdiction.”

Adopted, February 18th, 1867.

For Article X, pp. 15, 16, 17, substitute the following, to wit:
