No. 1428) entitled "An act authorizing the town board of Cortlandville, Cortland county, to convey and transfer to school district number thirteen in such town its right, title and interest in and to the old cemetery in the village of McGrawville and authorizing the board of trustees of such school district to provide for the removal of the remains of deceased persons from such cemetery and, after such

removal, to use the lands of such cemetery for school purposes," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to and said bill committed to the committee of the whole. No. 1275) entitled "An act to authorize the establishment and maintenance of a joint fire district in the village of Evans Mills and in the portion of the town of Le Roy outside an incorporated village, providing for the appointment and removal of fire commissioners and other officers and employees of the district, prescribing their powers and duties, authorizing the purchase of equipment, and providing for the borrowing of money and the levy of taxes for the maintenance of the district," reported in favor of the passage of the same with amendments, the title being amended to read as follows: "An act to authorize the establishment and maintenance of a joint fire district in the village of Evans Mills and in the portion of the town of Le Roy outside an incorporated village, providing for the appointment and removal of fire commissioners and other officers and employees of the district, prescribing their powers and duties, authorizing the purchase of equipment, and providing for the borrowing of money and the levy of taxes for the maintenance of the district," which report was agreed to, and said bill ordered reprinted and committed to the committee of the whole.
