REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

The report of the Committee on Public Health and Education on the Petition presented by Mr. Mahoe from the residents and voters of the Second Precinct of the Fifth Representative District, recommending that the prayers be denied and the Petition be rejected. The report of the Committee was adopted.

The following Petition was presented:

Petition No. 7, by Mr. Paele, from a Committee of the Hawaiian Relief Society, praying for pecuniary aid. Referred to the Committee on Public Health and Education.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

The following Report of Standing Committee was presented:

Mr. Emmeluth, Chairman of the Committee on Finance, to which was referred the communication of H. M. Dow, asking for reimbursement to the amount of $440.00 claimed to nave been overpaid into the Treasury, presented a Majority Report, recommending that the sum of $339.95 be inserted in the Appropriation Bill to reimburse Mr. H. M. Dow. On motion of Mr. Mossman, consideration of the report was postponed, to await a Minority Report to be presented by Mr. Hihio.

NOTICES OF BILLS.

Notice was given of intention to introduce the following

The following Resolution was introduced:

A Resolution by Mr. Keliikoa, asking for an appropriation of $3,000 for widening road, South Kona, Hawaii. On motion of Mr. Dickey, consideration of Resolution was postponed, to be taken up with the Appropriation Bill.
