For the purpose of this reply it is assumed that the subject merchandise is not the product of any of the communist countries listed in the attached copy of General Headnote 3 (e), Tariff Schedules of the United States (TSUS). It is the opinion of the Bureau that while the subject articles are parts of caliper brakes they are excluded from free entry under item. 912.10, TSUS, because there is no provision for parts thereunder. Accordingly, such parts are classifiable under the provision for other, parts of bicycles in item 732.36, TSUS, with duty at the rate of 18 percent ad valorem. NOTE: Sincerely yours, (Signed) A. P.
