I count not myself yet to have apprehended: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and 'stretching forward to the things 14 which are before, I press 'on' toward the goal unto the prize of the high 15) calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let

us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye are otherwise minded, even this (16) shall God reveal unto you:

only,

whereuntol we have already attained, by 'that same rule let us walk. 17) Brethren, be lye imitators together

of me, and mark them which so walk leven as ye have us for an ensample. (18 °For many walk, of whom I told you

often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross 19 of Christ: whose end is 'perdition', whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind 20 earthly things. For our citizenship!

Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved. 2 I exhort Euodia', and 'I exhort' Syntyche, 'to be of the same mind in 3 the Lord. Yea, I beseech thee also, true yokefellow, help 'these! women, for they laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-workers', whose names are in the book of life.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are "honourable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any (9 praise, think on these things. The things which ye both learned and received and heard and saw in me, these things do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

But I 10 rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye have revived! your thought for me; wherein ye idid indeed take thought, but ye 11 lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, 12 therein to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know also how to abound in every thing' and in all things have! I learned the secret! both to be 'filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want'. 13 °I can do all things in him that' 14 strengtheneth me. Howbeit! ye 'did well, that ye had fellowship! 15) with my affliction. And ye yourselves also know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church had fellowship with me 'in the matter of giving and receiving, 16 but ye only; for even in Thessa

Not that I seek for the gift; but I seek for the fruit that increaseth to your account. 18 °But I have all things, and abound: I am 'filled', having received 'from' Epaphroditus the things that came from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing

11) PAUL, an apostle of Christ Jesus Ithrough the will of God, and Tim(2 othyl our brother, to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colossæ: Grace Ito you and peace from God our Father.

(3

We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying 4 always for you, having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the 5 saints, because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens', whereof ye heard before in the word (6) of the truth of the gospel, which is come unto you; leven as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the 7 grace of God in truth; leven' as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved' fellow-servant, who is a faithful min8 ister of Christ on our behalf', who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

91Take heed' lest there shall be any one that maketh! spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the 10rudiments of the world, and not 9 after Christ: °for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, 10) and in him ye are made full, whol is the head of all principality and (11) power: in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not! made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the (12) circumcision of Christ; having been! buried with him in baptism, wherein

ye were also raised with him through faith in the 'working' of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, 'you, I say, did he quicken together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses; 14 having blotted out "the 'bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and the hath taken it out of the way, nail*(15 ing it to the cross; 12having put off from himself the principalities and 'the' powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of 'a feast day or la' new moon or la sab17 bath day: which are a shadow of

the things to come; but the body is (18 Christ's. Let no man robꞌ you of your prize 18by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, 14 dwelling in the things which he hath 15seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly 19) mind, and not holding fast' the Head, from whom all the body, 'being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.
