FOURTEENTH SESSION. FIRST DAY. SENATE CHAMBER, LINCOLN, NEBRASKA, TUESDAY, January 2, 1877. In accordance with section 7, article III of the constitution of the state of Nebraska, the persons claiming to have been elected to the senate of the State of Nebraska, assembled in the senate chamber, at the capitol, in the city of Lincoln, at the hour of twelve o'clock-noon—and proceeded to organize the fourteenth session, under the constitution. On motion of Mr. Chapman, Mr. Daniel H. Wheeler was elected secretary pro tempore. those persons Thereupon the secretary pro tempore, called upon claiming to be elected members of the senate, to present their credentials. |
