By unanimous consent,

Mr. Brown presented a petition presented by John Klinker and fifteen other citizens of Douglas County, setting forth that they were purchasers of school lands in said county, and they purchased said lands with the understanding that said lands should not be taxed until their title to the land was perfected, and that they were now taxed by the county officers, and asking to be relieved from paying such taxes.

Referred to the committee on school funds and school lands.
