When therefore we refufe to know the Will of God, becaufe we will not do it, our ignorance is it feif criminal and finful, and renders us worthy to be beaten with many Stripes; and confequently cannot be pleaded for an excufe. It would be hard to determine which Servant an earthly Mafter would account moft faulty, he who knew his Will, but neglected to do it; or he who fhould ftop his Ears, and would not hear what his Commanda were, having refolved before hand that he would not do them, two, and two against three. 53. The father fhall be divided against the fon, and the fon against the father: the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother: the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 54.
