Mr. Jones, of Iowa, reported from the committee that they had examined and found duly enrolled the joint resolution (S. R. 36) granting the right of way to the Fayetteville and Central Plank Road.

Resolved, That this bill pass, and that the title thereof be: "An act granting the right of way and making a grant of land to the States of Florida and Alabama in aid of the construction of a railroad from the waters of the Pensacola bay, in Florida, to Montgomery, in the State of Alabama; also a railroad from Pensacola bay to Mobile bay; and of a railroad to the Chattahoochie and Flint rivers, Georgia."
