The vote upon the final passage of said bill having been reconsidered, on motion of Mr. Apgar, said bill was recommitted to the

committee on affairs of villages, with instructions to report the same forthwith, amended as follows:

"Section 1. The supervisor of the town of Mount Pleasant, in the county of Westchester, is hereby authorized and directed to pay to the village treasurer of the village of Pleasantville in the county of Westchester, out of the taxes, fines and penalties received by the said supervisor, after the passage of this act, under the liquor tax law, from the county treasurer of the county of Westchester, the sum of five hundred dollars in payment of moneys received by the said town of Mount Pleasant for highway taxes imposed upon the property in the corporate limits of the village of Pleasantville, for the year eighteen hundred and ninetysix, and not used upon the highways of said village, such moneys. to be held by the said village treasurer and used by him for the repair and maintenance of the highways in the said village, subject to the order of the board of trustees of said village. "§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately."

Said bill, as amended, was read the third time and passed, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage.

Mr. Mitchell moved that a committee of conference be appointed on the part of the Senate.
