The bill (No. 1322) entitled "An act to provide for the construction of storage reservoirs within the boundaries of the forest preserve to equalize the flow of water from the Adirondack streams, and to provide for the maintenance and control of said reservoirs' (Int. No. 542), was read the third time.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of said bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present, as follows:

The bill (No. 900) entitled "An act to amend subdivision 10 of section 4 of the Railroad Law, relative to mortgages of railroad corporations" (Int. No. 378), was read the third time.

The bill (No. 710) entitled "An act to authorize the city of Cohoes to borrow money by the issue of bonds for the payment of the expenses, audits and charges of the public improvement commission of the city of Cohoes created by chapter 904 of the Laws of 1896 and the public improvement commission of the city of Cohoes organized and created under chapter 227 of the Laws of 1898" (Int. No. 626), was read the third time.

The Assembly bill (No. 1723, Senate reprint No. 1287) entitled “An act to amend the Greater New York Charter, of chapter 378 of the Laws of 1897, in relation to the municipal courts in the borough of Brooklyn " (Rec. No. 389), having been announced for a third reading,

Mr. McCarren moved that said bill be recommitted to the committee on affairs of cities, with instructions to strike out the enacting clause.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the negative.

Said bill was then read the third time.

property to be filed in the town clerks' and other offices' and the acts amendatory thereof in relation to the place where the mortgage shall be filed" (Int. No. 950), was read the third time.

The bill (No. 872), entitled "An act to amend chapter 182 of the Laws of 1898, entitled 'An act for the government of cities of the second class'" (Int. No. 630), having been announced for a third reading,

Mr. White moved that said bill be recommitted to the committee on affairs of cities, retaining its place on the order of third reading. The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Mr. Stranahan, from the committee on affairs of cities, to which was referred the bill introduced by Mr. White, Int. No. 630, entitled "An act to amend chapter 182 of the Laws of 1898, entitled 'An act for the government of cities of the second class"" (No. 872), reported in favor of the passage of the same, with some amendments, which report was agreed to, and said bill restored to its place on the order of third reading.

Mr. Graney offered the following:

Resolved (if the Assembly concur), That a respectful message be sent to the Governor, requesting the return to the Senate of Senate
