Pittenger, mother of James D. Pittenger, late a private in Company I, Sixty-fifth Regiment, New York Volunteers, and pay her a pension from and after the passage of this act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Disabilities of P. States of America in Congress assembled, (two-thirds of each House concurU. Brown of Alabama by the provisions of the fourteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States be, and the same are hereby, removed.

Crosby, late first lieutenant in company F, forty-ninth regiment United States Colored troops, and pay her arrears of pension from the date of the death of said son until the date of the commencement of her pension. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the proper accountingofficer of the Treasury, in adjusting the amount due Melancthon B. L. Woolsey. Woolsey, deceased, late a commodore in the Navy, shall, in consideration of the devotion of the said deceased to his public duties, which resulted in his death at Pensacola, Florida, on the second day of October, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, pay to Mrs. Mary L. Woolsey, widow of said deceased, the amount of pay to which the said commodore would have been entitled if he had survived and remained in the public service on waiting orders to the end of the present fiscal year, out of any money appropriated for the pay of the officers of the Navy. Approved, March 3, 1875.
