This book focuses on the story of three civil rights workers murdered in Mississippi by the Ku Klux Klan in the summer of 1964, and the trial that followed. Using primary source images, documents, and excerpts from the trial, this book provides information on the investigation of the nineteen defendants, the trial, and the verdict that put seven of them behind bars.
