PSALM LXVI.

LET all the Lands, with Shouts of Joy,

to God their Voices raise;

Sing Pfalms in Honour of his Name, and fpread his glorious Praife.

2 And let them fay, How dreadful, Lord, in all thy Works, art thou!

3

To thy great Pow'r thy stubborn Foes

fhall all be forc'd to bow.

Thro' all the Earth the Nations round fhall thee their God confess;

And, with glad Hymns, their awful Dread of thy great Name exprefs.

4 O! come, behold the works of God,
and then with me you'il own,

That he to all the Sons of Men
has wond'rous Judgments shown.

PSALM

LXVI. P. 2.

O! all ye Nations, blefs our God, and loudly speak his Praise;

Who keeps our Soul alive, and still confirms our ftedfaft Ways.

2 O! come, all ye that fear the Lord; attend with heedful Care,

Whilft I what God for me has done, with grateful Joy declare.

3 As I before his Aid implor'd,

fo now I praise his Name;

Who, if my Heart had harbour'd Sin,
would all my Pray'rs disclaim.

4 But God to me, whene'er I cry'd,
his gracious Ear did bend;
And to the Voice of my Requeft,
with conftant Love attend,

5 Then blefs'd for ever be my God,
who never, when I pray,
With-holds his Mercy from my Soul,
nor turns his Face away.

[blocks in formation]

ITO blefs thy chofen Race,

то in Mercy, Lord, incline;

And caufe the Brightness of thy Face on all thy Saints to shine: 2 That fo thy wond'rous Way

may thro' the World be known; Whilft diftant Lands their Tribute pay, and thy Salvation own.

3 Let diff'ring Nations join

to celebrate thy Fame;

Let all the World, O Lord, combine
to praife thy glorious Name.

4 O let them fhout and fing,

diffolv'd in pious Mirth;

For thou, the righteous Judge and King, fhalt govern all the Earth.

5 Let diff'ring Nations join

to celebrate thy Fame;

Let all the World, O Lord, combine
to praise thy glorious Name.

6 Then God upon our Land
fhall conftant Bleffings fhow'r;

And

And all the World in Awe fhall ftand
of his refiftless Pow'r.

PSALM LXVII., O. V.
HAVE Mercy on us, Lord,

and grant to us thy Grace:

To fhew to us do thou accord the Brightness of thy Face. 2 That all the Earth may know the Way to godly Wealth: And all the Nations here below may see thy faving Health. 3 Let all the World, Ŏ God,

give Praise unto thy Name: . And let the People all abroad extol and laud the fame.

4 Throughout the World fo wide let all rejoice with Mirth;

For thou with Truth and Right doft guide

the Nations of the Earth.

5 Let all the World, O God,

give Praise unto thy Name; And let the People all abroad extol and laud the fame.

6 Then fhall the Earth increase, great Store of Fruit fhall fall,

And then our God, the God of Peace, shall ever bless us all.

PSALM LXVIII.

ITO God your Voice in Anthems raife; Jehovah's awful Name he bears;

In him rejoice, extol his Praise, who rides upon high-rolling Spheres. 2 Him, from his Empire of the Skies, to this low World Compaffion draws, The Orphan's Claim to patronize, and judge the injur'd Widow's Cause. 3 For Benefits each Day bestow'd, be daily his great Name ador'd, Who is our Saviour and our God, of Life and Death the fov'reign Lord.

PSALM LXVIII. O. V.

LET God arife, and then his Foes
will turn themselves to Flight:

His Enemies for Fear fhall run,
and scatter out of Sight.

2 And as Wax melts before the Fire,
and Wind blows Smoak away:
So in the Presence of the Lord
the Wicked shall decay.

3 But righteous Men before the Lord,
fhall heartily rejoice:

They fhall be glad and merry all, and cheerful in their Voice.

4 Sing Praife, fing Praise, unto the Lord, who rideth on the Sky:

Extol the great Jehovah's Name, and him ftill magnify.

And all his Wonders paft and gone,
I gladly will record.

2 Yea, all his Works I will declare,

and what he did devise:

To tell his Facts I will not spare,
and all his Counsel wife.

3 Thy Works, O Lord, are all upright,
and holy all abroad:

2

What one hath Strength to match the Might
of thee, the Lord our God?

4 Thou art a God that doft forth show
thy Wonders ev'ry Hour:
And so doft make thy People know
thy Virtue and thy Pow'r.

PSALM LXXXIV.

God of Hofts, the mighty Lord,i how lovely is the Place,

Where thou, enthron'd in Glory, fhew'ft,
the Brightness of thy Face!

2 My longing Soul faints with Defire
to view thy bleft Abode;

My panting Heart and Flesh cry out
for thee the living God.

3 O Lord of hcfts, my King and God,
how highly bleft are they,
Who in thy Temple alway dwell,
and ther thy Praise difplay!

4 Thrice happy they, whofe Choice has thee,
their fure Protection made;

Who long to tread the facred Ways
that to thy Dwelling lead!
