1 MR. JUSTICE HARLAN, having been appointed an Arbitrator on the part of the United States in the Behring Sea Fur-Seal Arbitration in Paris, heard argument for the last time, this term, on Monday, December 5, 1892, and left for Paris soon after.

MR. JUSTICE JACKSON was appointed in the place of MR. JUSTICE LAMAR, deceased. His commission is dated February 18, 1893. On the 4th of March, 1893, the oath of office was administered to him in open court, and he immediately took his seat upon the bench.

3 Mr. Miller having resigned, Mr. Olney was appointed in his place, and commissioned March 6, 1893. He qualified March 7, and was presented to the court on that day.
