FORTY-FIRST ANNUAL MEETING OF THE NATIONAL BOARD OF TRADE The Forty-first Annual Meeting of the National Board of Trade was held at the New Willard's, in the city of Washington, D. C., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, January 17, 18 and 19, 1911. FIRST DAY. TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 1911. The Board met, and was called to order at 12.05 o'clock P. M., the President, Mr. FRANK D. LA LANNE, occupying the Chair, and the Secretary (Mr. Wм. R. TUCKER) being at his desk. ORGANIZATION. The PRESIDENT.-Gentlemen, we have assembled promptly, but we are not a convention until we have a report from the Committee on Credentials, which the chair will now name:— Messrs. ALBERT M. READ, of Washington; Walter B. LIVEZEY, of Newport News, and PHILIP GODLEY, of Philadelphia. The committee will procure the credentials from the Secretary and report as soon as possible. The Committee on Credentials, by its chairman, Mr. READ, subsequently reported that thirty organizations are present, represented by one hundred delegates and four alternates.
