At every meeting, when practicable, at least one paper shall be read by some member of the Society, upon some subject appertaining to the history of the town, which paper, for the sake of correction and accu racy, shall be subject to the discussion and criticism of the members present.

This constitution can be altered, or amended, or added to, at any reg ular meeting, by a majority vote of the members present, provided that a notice of the introduction of such amendment shall be given at the previous meeting.
