The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require the regular aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from limited motion of her left arm, marked kyphosis, and lateral curvative of spine, and limited motion of left hip joint and knee joint.

The evidence also shows that she has no property or means or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2062. Burley Van Fleet, aged 63 years, whose post-office address is 637 Church Street, Bowling Green, Ky., is the former widow of Ideral K. Van Fleet, late a private, Company C, Thirtythird Regiment Kentucky Infantry, from February 5, 1863, to July 10, 1865, and who died February 14, 1917.

Applicant and the late soldier were married July 30, 1899. She is now pensioned as the soldier's former widow at the rate of $30 per month under XC477536.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require the regular aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from disease of heart, disease of gall bladder, and general break-down of nervous system.

The evidence also shows that she has no means or property or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $40 per month.

H. R. 2194. Sophia M. Webster, aged 85 years, whose post-office address is 28 Portsmouth Terrace, Rochester, N. Y., is the former widow of Eleazer B. Howard, late a private, Company H, Twentyfourth Regiment Michigan Infantry, from March 23 to June 30, 1865, and who died March 6, 1906.

Applicant and the late soldier were married July 4, 1887. She is now pensioned as the soldier's former widow at the rate of $40 per month under XC2676602.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require the regular aid and attendance of another person, by reason of affliction from impaired locomotion, almost total blindness, general arteriosclerosis with hypertension, and general physical degeneration.

The evidence also shows that she has a $100 Government bond and some corporation stock, of the par value of $1,500 but which rarely pays dividends and is now of questionable value. It does not appear that she has other means or property, or income from any other source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support. It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

Applicant and the late soldier were married June 21, 1894. She is now pensioned as the soldier's widow at the rate of $40 per month under XC2692102.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require the constant aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from arteriosclerosis and cerebral hemorrhage and resulting paralysis of left side. She is confined to her bed.

The evidence also shows that she has no means or property, or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2197. Emma J. Deo, aged 90 years, whose post-office address is 140 Averill Avenue, Rochester, N. Y., is the widow of Henry Deo, alias Henry Kimball, late a private, Company F, First Battalion, Sixteenth Regiment United States Infantry, from February 29, 1864, to February 28, 1867, and who died May 6, 1931.

Applicant and the late soldier were married April 5, 1872. She is now pensioned as the soldier's widow at the rate of $40 per month under XC2642384.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require regular aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from hypertension, disease of heart, and extreme age.

The evidence also shows that she has title to a residence property valued at $3,700 which is encumbered by a mortgage in the sum of $2,000, the interest upon which is $100 per annum. She has no other means or property or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2198. Mary A. Ward, aged 88 years, whose post-office address is 1103 East Main Street, Rochester, N. Y., is the widow of Thomas Ward, late a private, Company E, One Hundred and Sixtieth Regiment New York Infantry, from September 12, 1864, to May 9, 1865, and who died September 7, 1910.

Applicant and the late soldier were married August 2, 1871. She is now pensioned as the soldier's widow at the rate of $40 a month under XC2682706.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from chronic cardiovascular disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and cardiac decompensation.

The evidence also shows that she has no means or property or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2202. Elizabeth A. Schlick, aged 79 years, whose post-office address is 154 Nunda Boulevard, Rochester, N. Y., is the widow of Henry N. Schlick, late a second lieutenant, Company K, First Regiment New York Dragoons, from August 4, 1862, to June 30, 1865, and who died April 11, 1905.

Applicant and the late officer were married February 10, 1898. She is now pensioned as the officer's widow at the rate of $40 per month under XC2697312.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require the constant aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from bilateral cataract, generalized arteriosclerosis with cerebral attacks of encephalopathy.

The evidence also shows that she has no means or property or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2207. Grace E. Fairchild, aged 55 years, whose post-office address is 113 South Main Street, Perry, N. Y., is the widow of William Fairchild, late a private, Company B, Nineteenth Regiment New York Cavalry, from September 19, 1864, to June 30, 1865, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 413435 (now XC876131) at the rate of $72 per month, and who died March 14, 1926.

Applicant and the late soldier were married April 10, 1907, and the evidence filed in support of this bill indicates she is his legal widow. She has no title to pension as such under existing laws, for the reason she did not contract marriage with him prior to June 27, 1905, although they lived together more than 18 years.

The medical evidence presented indicates she is unable to contribute to her own support and requires the aid and attendance of another person by reason of angina pectoris and gastric neurosis.

She has no property of any kind, no means, and no income. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended that her name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $20 per month and that the rate be increased to $30 per month from and after the date she shall have attained the age of 60 years, which fact shall be determined by the submission of satisfactory evidence by the beneficiary to the Veterans' Administration.

H. R. 2326. Sarah D. Bailey, aged 66 years, whose post-office address is Pomeroyton, Ky., is the widow of Seth Bailey, late a private, Company F, Fortieth Regiment Kentucky Infantry, from July 11, 1863, to December 30, 1864, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 579743, now XC948918, at the rate of $35 per month, and who died April 5,

1919.

Applicant and the late soldier were married September 16, 1911, and the evidence filed in support of this bill indicates that she is his legal widow. She has no title to pension as such under existing laws for the reason that she did not marry the veteran prior to June 27, 1905.

The medical evidence presented indicates that applicant is almost totally disabled for earning a support by reason of diabetes, rheumatism, and valvular disease of heart.

She has no means or property or income from any source except what meager returns she can get from her own labor.

It is recommended that her name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $30 per month.

H. R. 2331. Henry Patrick Dyer, alleged to be 44 years of age, whose post-office address is Rural Route No. 3, Winchester, Ky., is the help

less and dependent son of John F. Dyer, late a private, Company B. Twelfth Regiment Kentucky Infantry, from October 12, 1861, to July 11, 1865, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 393995 at the rate of $12 per month, and who died October 8, 1909.

The parents of this applicant were married in the year 1866, exact date not given because of the records having been destroyed by fire. The mother was pensioned as the soldier's widow under certificate No. 709060, at the rate of $50 per month until the date of her death, April 25, 1936.

Applicant has no title to pension under existing laws for the reason he was held by the Bureau of Pensions to have attained the age of 16 years prior to the date of filing of a claim in his behalf, January 3, 1910.

The medical and other evidence filed in support of this bill indicates that he is the legitimate son of the soldier and that he has been a mentally incompetent and physically incapacitated person all his life, requiring the constant aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from epilepsy and disease of heart.

Applicant has no property or means or income from any source; he is in necessitous circumstances wholly dependent upon charity for sustenance and shelter.

It is recommended that his name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $20 per month.

H. R. 2332. Lovena Triplett, aged 87 years, whose post-office address is Blaine, Ky., is the widow of Calvin Triplett, late a private, Company C, Fortieth Regiment Kentucky Infantry, from August 10, 1863, to December 30, 1864, and who died July 19, 1919.

Applicant and the late soldier were married April 15, 1874. She is now pensioned as the soldier's widow at the rate of $40 a month under XC2699638.

The medical evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is in condition to require constant aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from disabilities incident to her advanced age. and lameness of left leg.

The evidence also shows that she has title to real property valued at $200. It does not appear that she has other property or means or income from any source except her pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended her pension be increased to $50 per month.

H. R. 2345. Minnie A. Lacy, aged 58 years, whose post-office address is White Oak, Ky., is the widow of Miles H. Lacy, late a corporal, Company D. Forty-fifth Regiment Kentucky Mounted Infantry, from October 3, 1863, to December 24, 1864, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 671031 at the rate of $100 per month and who died May 7, 1931.

Applicant and the late soldier were married September 25, 1913, and the evidence filed in support of this bill indicates she is his legal widow. She has no title to pension as such under existing laws for the reason she contracted marriage with him subsequent to June 27, 1905, although they lived together more than 17 years.

The medical evidence presented indicates she is not able to contribute to her own support by reason of recurring hemorrhages of the lungs. nervousness, and general weakness.

She has an undivided interest in a residence property valued at $500, which provides her a home. She has no other means or property, nor income from any source; she is in necessitous circumstances and dependent upon charity for sustenance.

It is recommended that her name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $20 per month and that rate be increased to $30 per month from and after the date she shall have attained the age of 60 years, which fact shall be determined by the submission of satisfactory evidence by the beneficiary to the Veterans' Administration.

H. R. 2347. Martha J. Lawson, aged 73 years, whose post-office address is rural route No. 1, Flemingsburg, Ky., is the widow of David Lawson, late a private, Company G, Twenty-fourth Regiment Kentucky Infantry, from November 5, 1861, to January 31, 1865, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 363019 at the rate of $24 per month and who died February 13, 1915.

Applicant and the late soldier were married October 29, 1908, and the evidence filed in support of this bill indicates that she is his legal widow. She has no title to pension as such under existing laws for the reason that she did not contract marriage with the soldier prior to June 27, 1905.

The medical evidence presented indicates that she is wholly incapacitated for self-support and is in condition to require the regular aid and attendance of another person by reason of affliction from myocarditis, arteriosclerosis, chronic arthritis, impaired vision, and fracture of right femur.

The evidence also shows that she has no property or means and no income from any source except $12 per month old-age pension. No one is legally bound to her support.

It is recommended that her name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $30 per month.

H. R. 2350. Dora McCallister, aged 64 years, whose post-office address is Vale, Ky., is the helpless and dependent daughter of George W. McCallister, late a private, Company A, Fifty-fourth Regiment Kentucky Mounted Infantry, from August 16, 1862, to September 16, 1863, and from September 5, 1864, to September 1, 1865, who was a pensioner under certificate No. 496265 at the rate of $72 per month and who died January 13, 1923.

Applicant's parents were married October 28, 1860. The mother died June 27, 1889.

This applicant has no title to pension under existing laws, for the reason she attained the age of 16 years prior to the soldier's death. The medical and other evidence filed in support of this bill indicates applicant is the legitimate daughter of the soldier and that she has been a helpless and dependent person all her life by reason of congenital disease of eyes, lack of useful vision, and mental incompetency, requiring the constant aid and attendance of another person all her life.

She has no means or property or income from any source; she is in necessitous circumstances and wholly dependent upon charity for sustenance and shelter.

It is recommended that her name be placed on the pension roll at the rate of $20 per month.
