The Forty-Third Session of the General Assembly of the State of
Indiana, begun and held at the Capital, in the City of Indianapolis, on Thursday, the 8th day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

The Senate was called to order by Thomas M. Browne, Esq., Principal Secretary of the last session, when the following Senators, holding over, answered to their names:
