For particulars, so far as available, of Cotton produced, &c., in the various British Protectorates, see Appendices pp. 384 et seq. The cultivation of Cotton has only recently been commenced in British Honduras and St. Lucia. (a) The cotton from this area was ginned in 1904. (ƒ) In 1895 the rubber industry in Lagos was developed by the introduction from the Gold Coast of Natives experienced in Rubber collecting. (b) Years ended 31st March.
