NOTE. By comparing the Scriptures quoted, it is evident that the attributes and works of God are indiscriminately ascribed to Christ, consequently a unity exists between the Father and Son, which constitutes but one being. To this agreeth the testimony of John 1:1,3, 14. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made, And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among 118. And Christ saith, John 10:30, I and my Father

Heb. 2:14, 16. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.-For verily he took not on him the nature of angels: but he took on him the seed of Abraham. * Some have said that Christ is called "THE Son of man" by way of eminence, he being the only person thus distinguished in the Scriptures.

REMARKS. Some contend that Christ is inferior to the Father, and to prove this, they quote Mark 13:32. "But of that day, and that hour, knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." If this passage signifies that the knowledge of Christ was limited, it plainly contradicts others already quoted, which prove that he is omniscient. But considering the word know to have the same meaning here that it has in 1 Cor. 2:2, "For I determined not to know
