of the State of South Carolina, passed on the
21st day of December, 1804, so far as relates to
authorizing the city council of Charleston to
impose and collect a duty on tonnage of vessels
from foreign ports.

An act to amend an act entitled "An act for im-
posing more specific duties on the importation
of certain articles, and also for levying and col-
lecting light-money on foreign ships or vessels,
and for other purposes."

A bill declaring the consent of Congress to an act
of the State of South Carolina, passed on the
