A bill to repeal that part of the act of the 30th of 29 August, 1842, which imposes a duty of 20 per cent. ad valorem on Java coffee, and to refund the discriminating tonnage-duties levied on Spanish vessels (except those from Cuba and Porto Rico) by the act of July 13, 1832, and to prohibit such duties hereafter. A bill to release from duty certain printed books 31 belonging to certain religious societies.
