CHAPTER I.

AN ACT to amend the Criminal Laws of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

the State of Tennessee, That it shall be a misdemeanor
to commit a nuisance upon or in the Capitol, or in or
upon any of the stairways thereof; and any person or
persons committing such nuisance, upon conviction
thereof, shall be fined in a sum not less than five dol- Fine.
